Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)

The Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) is Bangladesh's largest and longest-running annual national trade fair, jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). Since its move from its long-time Sher-e-Bangla Nagar grounds, DITF has been held at the purpose-built Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal. The 2026 edition was the 30th installment of the fair and allocated 324 pavilions, stalls, and restaurants to domestic producer-exporters, general business entities, and foreign companies.

Visitor profile

DITF draws a broad cross-section of the general public alongside trade buyers, making it a hybrid consumer-and-trade event — families and individual shoppers attend throughout the month, while business visitors and buyers concentrate their visits around specific sector days and the opening weeks.

Exhibitor profile

Exhibitors span domestic manufacturers and exporters across consumer goods, textiles and garments, food and beverage, home and lifestyle products, electronics, and handicrafts, alongside a number of foreign country and company pavilions.

Why exhibit

As a month-long, high-footfall national fair with both consumer and trade visitors, DITF offers exhibitors sustained brand exposure, direct-to-consumer sales opportunities, and a venue for launching products to a national audience — a different value proposition than shorter, purely B2B trade shows.

Booth design guide

Given the fair's scale and month-long duration, stands need to be built for durability across many operating days, with strong front-of-stand visual impact to stand out among 300+ neighboring pavilions and stalls. Because DITF combines consumer retail traffic with trade visits, many exhibitors benefit from a layout that supports both quick retail browsing and a slightly more private area for trade or bulk-order conversations.
